Curriculum is the heart and soul of the educational experience for faculty and students alike. California community college faculty have purview over curriculum developed and offered at the colleges, and this site is created by community college faculty through the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges (ASCCC) to assist with local development of courses and programs. The ASCCC is responsible for the content of this site, and any suggestions or ideas for improving the site may be sent to email@example.com.
The Academic Senate for California Community Colleges has been given the authority and responsibility for curriculum and other academic and professional matters in state law and regulation. The ASCCC is a faculty led, non-profit organization dedicated to leadership, empowerment and voice of California’s full- and part-time faculty in the state’s 115 community colleges.
